Key Program Statements:
- The role of the national Membership Committee is to encourage and support the nationwide effort to attract and retain a diverse, active membership and establish new units to ensure the future of the American Legion Auxiliary.
- By honoring our veterans and military through meaningful service, the American Legion Auxiliary will grow our membership. We must let members know that they are the Auxiliary’s most valuable asset.
- There are several things members can do to promote membership for the American Legion Auxiliary including enhancing the member experience, reaching out to former and expired members, attracting new members and understanding and respecting member rights.

Membership Data Form – 2025
Form to be used to report name changes, address changes, join date/continuous year change, transfers and deceased members
Membership Transmittal Form – 2025
Form to be used to process membership dues to Department. Transmit dues each week, do NOT hold dues. Send payment with form.
Unit Dues Change Form – 2025
Form to be used to submit a change in Unit Dues to Department. Must be turned in before March 1st of the change year.

ALA MIS is used by units and departments to manage members, units, departments and leadership information.
ALA MIS User Form – 2025
Units – If you want to add or change an ALAMIS user or to continue as a user for the next year, this form will need to be returned to Department Headquarters by December 1st. There can only be 2 active users per Unit. Fees do apply when giving/renewing access.
