National Long Range Strategic Planning Committee
The purpose of this committee is to assist the National Executive Committee with the responsibilities for the organization’s mission, vision and strategic direction.
Strategic planning is vital to ensuring the American Legion Auxiliary’s future relevance and impact. Together, we will build on past experiences, engage in honest discussions, and set priorities that strengthen Units, empower members, and advance our Mission.
I was appointed to this committee for the Northwestern Division. A member was appointed from each Division. One of my first assignments is to gather feedback from our Department Unit members. Below are the questions I
would like the Unit members to answer.
- What do Units need most to be successful?
- What are their biggest challenges?
- What support from the national organization would be most helpful?
Unit members are invited to answer the questions and provide your responses to your Department’s NEC (Vicki Ozenbaugh at ala.ozenbaugh@gmail.com) for her to submit to me. Then I can take it back to the committee with all your input when the committee meets in November. If you could have your responses to Vicki by November 9, I can get them ready for my meeting.
Your input is important to our committee. If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call me.
